Favorite Recipes: Mystery Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb baking potatoes
- 1 t salt
- ½ c MYSTERY INGREDIENT
- 20 c popped popcorn
- 2 T butter
- ½ c buttermilk
Tools:
- Large pot
- Potato masher or electric mixer
- Colander
- Large bowl
Directions:
- Fill your pot with water.
- Peel potatoes and cube. Place them in water right away so they don’t brown.
- Add salt to the water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes, until potatoes are fork tender. Drain well.
- Place potatoes in large bowl with remaining ingredients. Mash with mixer or by hand.
*Makes 4 servings
