Mystery Mashed potatoes Ingredients 1 lb baking potatoes 1 t salt ½ c MYSTERY INGREDIENT 2 T butter ½ c buttermilk Tools large pot, potato masher or electric mixer, large bowl, colander 1. Fill your pot with water. 2. Peel potatoes and cube. Place them in water right away so they don’t brown. 3. Add salt to the water and bring to a boil. 4. Reduce heat to simmer for 15 minutes, until potatoes are fork tender. Drain well. 5. Place potatoes in large bowl with remaining ingredients. Mash with mixer or by hand. *Makes 4 servings *For WCK classes, this recipe makes enough for 6 servings.
